How do I place an order?

Please follow our step-by-step guide on how to place an order here.

How long will my order take?

Your order will be processed once your payment has been verified. Payfast orders are received immediately, and Bank Deposit/EFT orders are processed once your payment has been received. This may take 24-72 hours dependant on the bank used.

Please send a Proof of Payment to online@gemschoolwear.co.za and use your “ZA” order number as reference to avoid any delays.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept multiple different payment methods via our PayFast option as well as Bank Deposit/EFT. Our PayFast payment method allows you to pay with your MasterCard or Visa credit/cheque card, smartphone payment options such as Apple and Samsung Pay, SnapScan,
MobiCred and RCS Store cards.

How do I choose my size?

Can I exchange my item?

You can request an exchange/return here. Exchanges will be done in accordance with our return policy. We do not accept returns or exchanges on swimwear, socks or underwear due to hygiene reasons.

Shipping and Delivery

How long will delivery take?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been completed. Delivery is done by our courier partners and is dependent on their transit times.
Delivery to major cities may take 2-5 working days, and outlying areas up to 7 working days.

What are your shipping charges?

We have a flat-rate shipping charge of R100.00 for orders under R1000.00. Orders above R1000.00 receive free shipping.

How can I track my order?

Tracking information will be sent to you via email once your order has been processed. Clicking on this link will direct you to our courier partners tracking page. Your waybill is also provided should you need to make enquiries or changes with our courier partner.

Do you offer international shipping?

We only ship packages within South Africa.

Do you offer click and collect?

We do not offer click and collect for online orders. All orders purchased online include a shipping fee or free courier and are sent with our courier partners

Where are you based?

We are based in Durban, KZN with 2 retail stores and a head office. Information
about our stores can be found here. We offer delivery nationwide. Surcharges and area exclusions may apply in accordance with our shipping policy.

How do I use my Gems?

You can redeem these Gems on your next order by clicking on the gold star rewards
button on the bottom left of the page. Please follow the prompts to redeem your
Gems for a discount code. This can be used on your next order of R500.00 or more.
